What do you get when a Mallard Duck lays her eggs in from of the Treasury Department in Washington, DC? A wonderful unexpected project!
The 200th Anniversary of Lewis and Clark became very real to students all over the US and Canada!

O.R.E.O. 2014
This year's o.r.e.o. project will be divided into divisions (4 US sections, Canada,
and outside North America!)
We also will be encouraging simultaneous cookie stacking competitions
between classrooms using skype or google hangouts.
Project Dates: September 15 to October 17, 2014
Registration Opens - August 25, 2014


This project is open to PreSchool through Third Grade Students. Students will
reinforce (and learn) math skills using the seeds of a pumpkin. Extension ideas
will be provided as well as online opportunities to share their experiences and
Project Dates: October 27 to October 31, 2014


Classrooms will be teamed together to participate in a MYSTERY SKYPE of December
Holiday Traditions. This project will limited to 100 participants.

Enjoy the holiday season as you share and receive greeting cards from all
over the world. A very fun way to learn mapping and geography skills! This
year's theme will be LIGHTS!!
Project Dates: December 2014

PreSchool to Third Grade students will reinforce graphing, grouping, counting,
and more as they use the marshmellow shapes in a box of Lucky Charms.
Classrooms are also encouraged to extend this project with Skype.

Project Dates: March 16 - 18, 2015



Celebrating our 3rd year with Picture It, students around the world will
be collaborating to create one unique piece of artwork. THEME: QUILTS
Project Dates: April 13 to May 15, 2015
